A very pretty black celluloid Wyvern from I would think the late 1930s.  This pen is in very good condition with the only issue that I can see being some foxing to the plating on the filling lever.  I can find no other damage on this pen.   The cap has a black top "jewel" that holds on the pocket clip.  This tapers inweards and then flares outwards again making an hourglass shape.  There is a single narrow band near the cap lip.   The barrel has a complete and crisp imprint.  The filling lever is quite long and slender with a small end tab.  The lovely Wyvern nib is made from 14 carat gold and is in a ratrher impressive broad stub point.

I have fully serviced this pen.  It fills easily and writes very smoothly with a good consistent ink flow.  The nib actually has some softness and coupled with the stub cut of the nib and the width of the point makes a glorious line that easily varies from a fine to a double-broad with very little effort.  This would maker and excellent signature pen!
