A rather lovely Conklin All American oversized pen in the rather unusual Raven Black finish - a lovely glossy black barrel and cap with a black plated pocket clip and nib.  This pen is in excellent condition and undamaged with no damage that I could find.  This is a 1930s-style torpedo-shaped pen. The cap has a black ion-plated and spring-loaded Conklin pocket clip and is a very simple design with no cap band.  On the barrel, the imprint is lovely and crisp and clear.  This is a cartridge-converter fill pen.  You can use either a standard International ink cartridge or the original ink converter already fitted to the pen.  The original blue leatherette box is also in lovely condition.  There is the original instruction sheet and ink cartridges (unused) below the flocked beige pad.  The paperboard outer slipcase is also still there.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  I have dip-tested the extra 1.1mm stub nib, and it appears to write very nicely, giving some rather lovely line width variation.
