I bought a job lot of old Japanese pens from the 1950s.  They are all old-stock and, as far as I can see, have never been used.  These pens are not top-tier, but good, usable middle-tier pens.  It is very unusual to find these pens in the UK. 

This is a lever-filled pen made from very slightly translucent brown/black celluloid.  It is in very good condition - there is some foxing/discolouration to the pocket clip, as you can see in the images below.  This pen has a tapering pocket clip with a ball-shaped terminal and a little circular decoration down both edges.  The pen has a high-domed and rounded cap top and a tapering barrel.  Around the cap lip are two narrow chrome-plated bands, and the filling lever is also chrome plated.  The stainless steel nib is semi-hooded with an extra-fine iridium point.  There is a paper label around the barrel that reads "DIAMOND / 200 / REIDER".

I have fully serviced this pen.  It writes very well, producing a very nice, wet and consistent and rather astonishingly extra extra fine width line.
