LM131 Lamy 2000 Rollerball, boxed.

Date: c2000s

A true classic - the Lamy 2000 has been manufactured without a break since the 1960s, and still looks contemporary today.   This Lamy 2000 rollerball is in excellent condition with no damage to it that I can see.  The original owner told me that he has never actually used the pen.  The cap has a squared off polished pocket clip.  The cap and barrel are both beautifully and delicately brush textured.  The cap pulls of and "clicks" back on with a well-engineered action.  Just forward of the gripping point in the barrel are a pair of lugs that the cap clutch engages on.  The point is brushed silver.  You can unscrew the barrel end blind cap to access the refill.  It is currently fitted with a black Lamy M63 refill that is working perfectly.  The original box is also in very nice condition.  Inside the box is the original instruction sheet.  The black card outer slipcase is also still present and it, too, is in lovely shape.

I have fully serviced this pen.  It works perfectly.

Lamy 2000 rollerballs seem to be very uncommon.  This is the first one I have been able to offer on my website in the 24 years since it has been going.
